Lacking their power-granting clothing the Powerpuff Girls briefly co-miserable before the professor reveals that he has created some auxiliary super suits for just such a scenario. The Rowdyruff Boys, brick specifically, sees an opportunity to cause mischief upon seeing the clothes drying outside the Powerpuff home, shortly thereafter the boys steal the clothes and after a brief confrontation with the Powerpuff girls manage to steal the girls' weapons as well. The professor also experiments with the clothes to determine their properties, even going so far as to try on Bubbles's outfit, presumably to demonstrate flexibility or something, upon seeing him in the dress Ken thinks he is Bubbles which foreshadow events later in the episode. The episode begins with the girls acting for a public service announcement about the value of being polite in public sponsored by the mayor of Townsville, shortly afterward the mayor informs them that he wants them to do some more promotional work to aide his flagging rating, this leads to the professor washing their clothes so that they can look spotless in public. This episode concerns a smear campaign run by the Rowdyruff Boys via impersonating the Powerpuff Girls.
